DV 2013 Visa Interviews.

Visa interviews for the 2013 diversity visa program winners will start from 1st of October 2012. Also those visa lottery winners who are staying in the USA can contact the USCIS, if their case number becomes current in any given month to change their current US status to U.S LPR status. The visa interview letters will be sent to the selected people 4-6 weeks prior to the interview date. The winners must take all the required documents and necessary documents with translation to the interview with a fully valid passport. Also must be ready to provide the required medical fitness, police clearance and the military record.

The dv 2013 visa lottery program offers visas in the first come first served method. So the dv lottery winners who have low numbered case numbers will be called for the interview in the month of October 2012.If they proof their eligibility at the interview by paying the required visa fees, they will be issued with the required immigrant visas. If they can't proof it then they will be rejected and the other winners will be called in the numeric case number order.

Visa Fees.

Primary applicant will pay US$ 330 and will pay US$ 330 each for his eligible dependants if he had any on the interview date for the visa fees.

If you are winner with a dependant spouse and 3 eligible children, then you will have to pay a total amount of US$ 1,650 as diversity visa fees to the US Consular office on the day of your interview..

The diversity visa fee is a non refundable one and it will not be given back if the required visa is refused for any given reason. Also after paying your visa fees you will attend the interviews and if your visas are not given to because of administrative delay and if the closing date of the program is passed your visa fees will not be returned to you.

Those winners, who are staying in the USA, must too pay the same amount of money when they want to change their current status to the U.S LPR status.

While their dependants too must pay the required visa fees and must attend the visa interview at their local embassy. All the winners out side of the USA will be announced by mail about their visa interview 4 - 6 weeks prior to the interview date. While those selected winners in the USA must keep watching the visa bulletin to submit their entries to the USCIS office when their case number is current.

Most of the dv 2013 visa lottery applicants think that this is a free to benefit program and they think every thing is given free to them. But it is only free to apply for the program through the internet in the beginning, and there after you have to pay all the required fees and expenses as instructed by the US Government till you get the immigrant visa.

Please take note; never send money by post, bank draft or through any money transfer companies to get the US diversity visa. If you are asked to pay in this way, it means some scam operator is trying to make money from you in the name of dv lottery. Don't respond to those emails even if they look like original ones with logos and other graphics.

Mean while 50,000 visas those were allocated to the DV-2012 visa lottey winners are seems to issued to the rightful winners as per the visa lottery program visa bulletin. Those DV-2012 winners in the USA can decide that tat they had seen the door closed for their chance to get their status change.
Those DV 2012 winners living out side of the USA can keep their hope of getting their visa through the DV 2012 lottery have more dates and more chances till the program going to close on 30th September 2012 midnight.
